How to increase traffic if you do not have a lot of internet knowledge? The best way is through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Although the term may sound impressive, SE0 is actually quite simple and does not have to involve complex internet processes.  Basically, SEO is about knowing what keywords are relevant in your trade, and then creating content that is filled with these keywords. Post these text on your blog, on your website, discussion forums, and on article submission websites.

The basic idea is to get your website on the first few pages in search engines. Preferably, you would want your website to be on Page 1. To do this, first brainstorm the keywords that are relevant in your trade. Think of what keywords you would type if you were a costumer looking for something in your field. For example, you deal with martial arts merchandise. Then, you think of keywords like “gloves”, “swords”, “weapons” and such, and then post content full of these words on your blog or website. Write down all the key words you can think of on a piece of paper or a text document. When you have posted your keywords-rich content, that is already one thing done.

Next, write an article related to your trade. If you do not have he right knowledge at this moment, read online articles to boost your knowledge. Quickly hit the libraries and pick up relevant books to increase your knowledge. As you read through, type notes and save them in your computer so that you can post them on your blog. People just love blogs with good content that is accurate, and updated on a regular basis.

Next get links from website directories to your website. In terms of search engines, links from websites with high page rank will increase your page rank. When your website is ranked on Page One of search engines, the traffic that will flow in will be tremendous!
