The main attraction of social media marketing is that it brings together users of the  internet in the whole world. This brings the company a virtually infinite number of clients that may buy products. By setting up accounts in these social media, businessmen and entrepreneurs can tap into great resources that can increase their traffic flow and revenue.

There are dozens of social media tools around but the most popular is probably Facebook. Even Barack Obama uses it, so it must be good. These sites are a great way to gain some traffic through feeding information through your profile and creating a group about your company and asking people to join. This is a very simple activity that will take no more than an hour to set up. After setting up, simply start inviting your friends. This is a great way to get money. First of all, it is all free. Getting into a fun and free social media tool, and using it to drive traffic and get real revenue, what’s not to love?

There are theme-specific social media that people in niche markets can tap into. For example, a budding gaming company can surely tap into the forums of Gamespot to gain some reputation and initial traffic. Theme-specific social media are great because like-minded individuals are grouped together. What this means to the company is that that is the right market, the right prospects. That is the best way to hit your right market.

Social media allows comment and testimonials and that will boost company reputation and convince potential customers into contacting you. There is no better way to have lots of positive testimonies that speak well of your product. Include the “free” factor, and social media is really the best place to get started on advertising.

Hi, you might want to tweak the first sentence of this article – mention of users twice. :p

    Hey there,

This is a good article to spark the interest in SMO with those who aren’t already excited about it.
    Keep up the good work!

    Side Note:
I did find some spelling errors in the following lines:
By setting up accounts in these social media, businessmen and entrepreneur can tap into great resources that can increase their traffic flow and revenue.

The word entrepreneur here should be put in the plural form: entrepreneurs

There is no better way top promote a product than to have lots of positive testimonial online that speaks well of your product.

I think the word “top” there should be “to”. And it should be “to have lots of positive testimonies that speak well of your product”

    All the best,

    Mike
